Molecular
Insight Pharmaceutical, Inc., a Cambridge based
company, has been successfully developing a biopharmaceutical
product portfolio. The company has requested WebCTel
to assist them in the development of a strategic
vision of the company’s future operations
and technology infrastructure that will support
rapid growth, future success, and the rigors of
due diligence required by institutional investors.
WebCTel, acting as the primary project partner with
MIP, has partnered with experts in business process
analysis, small company operations, and strategic
marketing to provide MIP with project leadership
that will provide the framework for their future
operations.
State
of Massachusetts
The
Massachusetts Highway Department was challenged
with their system for processing non-reducible trucking
permits. Last year, the MHD processed approximately
38,000 permits manually, which was a labor-intensive
process, as well as fiscally unsound.
In April 2005, WebCTel completed its first phase
of its SOPs™, which has successfully transformed
the process of delivering non-reducible permits
for the MHD.
According to Mike Lyons, Head of Operations for
MHD, "Now that we are online, we have so many advantages
that we did not expect when we deployed this system.
Of course, there is a significant increase in permit
approval throughout. But we now have real-time reports,
better fiscal management, and greater oversight
on the permits approved. It would not be an understatement
to say that we are operating ten times faster than
before SOPs."
