Based on the SOPS⁺ architecture HAZMAT TMS⁺ increases domain awareness related to the transportation of hazardous materials and provides a capability for coordinated, agile responses to terrorist threats.

HAZMAT TMS⁺empowers State and Federal transportation agencies to safeguard the State homeland with WebCTel online permitting solution (SOPS⁺) integrated with GPS tracking, monitoring, and recovery systems. Its primary objectives will be to provide an integrated online, monitoring, tracking, recovery, notification, and issuance of HAZMAT registrations and permit process across state government agencies.

HAZMAT TMS⁺is a web-based uniform-application for the transit industry, and government agencies. It was designed by professionals with in-depth experience in the transit operating and permitting management. It provides a full solution with a set of services for secure, flexible, and personalized Web self-service experience through which an authorized organization can manage the processing, tracking, notification and issuance of Registration of Certificate and Permits for the transport of hazardous materials. As a comprehensive web based system, it will improve and support the business process and workflow of the hazardous materials registration and permit transport operations.

HAZMAT TMS⁺ has a full fiscal reconciliation and reporting management solution. It provides a comprehensive suite for monitoring and recovery management, internal audit checklists, corrective action tracking, hazardous condition management, and behavioral based safety tracking to help state transit agencies to proactively improve safety in the interstate and intrastate roadways, and achieve regulatory compliance.

HAZMAT TMS⁺ provides an integrated online, real-time tracking and locator system of special motor carriers (HAZMAT, security, judicial, emergency, vessel).
