WebCTel
CEO presents vision & strategy at Brown Venture Forum.
On
February 15, 2001 WebCTel Founder & CEO Johnny Cator spoke before
the Brown Venture Forum. The forum entitled: "The Art of the
Elevator Speech: Four Entrepreneurs Face off Against Four Investors
challenged four select entrepreneurs to give a four minute presentation
to impress and impart sufficient information to a Venture Capitalist.
When asked how he choose the approach and content of the presentation,
Mr. Cator responded, "It is my job to impart how excited WebCTel
is to provide a high quality of work and create jobs. WebCTel is
committed to building our business through hard work and making
a clear investment in the communities where we are located. We are
about creating a workforce, providing our clients with a high quality
of work and creating jobs."
The
Brown Venture Forum was established in 1984 by local business representatives
under the leadership of William Jackson, President of Brown University
Research Foundation. The Forum was established to promote the creation
and expansion of high-growth businesses in the region. Since 1984,
companies have been coming before the Forum to receive advice from
specially-selected panelists. The Forums take place once a month
from October through May. A newsletter announcing each meeting is
available, as well as a yearly "Entrepreneur's Resource Guide".
