CAMBRIDGE,
MA - March 27, 2002:
WebCTel and Landmark Realty to Launch Boston's Largest
Real Estate Portal: BostonRealEstate.com
BostonRealEstate.com (BRE) has been established to be
the quintessential real estate resource for Massachusetts.
The mission of BostonRealEstate.com is to provide a full-service
and intuitive site, focused on connecting the real estate
consumer to the real estate industry. The site features
residential and commercial, office space and retail space,
while it aims to connect buyers, sellers, brokers, contractors,
and vendors throughout the state.
"Since meeting with John Cator and the staff at WebCTel
three years ago, I have found this company to be highly
responsive and adaptive to my needs. Initially WebCTel
networked my office and has on countless occasions come
to my aid when our computers went down or had trouble,
no matter what time or day of the week."
"Out of that mutual trust and respect the concept of BostonRealEstate.com
was developed. With my 27 years of Real Estate experience
and John Cator's extensive knowledge of building websites
and the infrastructure that keeps them running, we are
about to launch a Real Estate Web Portal for the Massachusetts's
community. The site will provide both consumers and Real
Estate Practitioners, as well as the vendors who provide
real estate services, a new platform to add to their marketing
components that will be cost effective and even have the
ability to reduce other areas of marketing costs, " said
David Krock, president and founder of BostonRealEstate.com
WebCTel developed an extensive infrastructure to carry
out the Boston Real Estate.com mission of connecting buyers,
sellers, brokers, builders, and vendors throughout Massachusetts.
The back-end tools and databases were customized to fit
the services and portal features to make the site fully
equipped with all the "bells and whistles."
WebCTel dedicated itself to building the right infrastructure
and technology for supporting the site's mission, including:
customized templates for creating intranet sites for subscribing
brokers, a massive database for adding and updating real
estate listings, specialized services for agents and brokers,
and calculation of financial and mortgage quotations.
Add-ons will include online consumer and business credit
reports as well as links to lending institutions and mortgage
companies. BRE plans to partner with a record service
company to feature residential stats. .
Remarkably, WebCTel was putting the finishing touches
on the design of this portal while orchestrating the successful
Memphis in May International Festival site launch as well.
