Johnny Cator, is WebCTel's Founder, President, and CEO. He is a pioneer in developing e-strategy and managing urban-based Internet start-ups. Under his guidance and leadership, WebCTel has secured its first major contract and doubled its revenues, all while providing "Powerful Solutions" and "Empowering People." Prior to WebCTel, Mr. Cator was Senior Vice President of Operations at CitySoft, a Watertown, MA -based website development and Management Company for two years.
At Microsoft, Mr. Cator served as Senior Account Executive, and he helped implement the Office Suite program. Mr. Cator also worked with Network Plus, an Integrated Communications Provider, to develop a data warehouse for the Quincy-based company, while leading CitySoft's expansion into New York City and Baltimore. In addition to WebCTel and CitySoft, Mr. Cator was a founder of Compu-Tel, a systems integration company.
The company has trained scores of workers from Boston's Urban Neighborhoods. Another company that thrived under Mr. Cator’s leadership is Hai-tel Communications, a telecommunications company focused on serving immigrant communities. In addition, in 1990, he founded and managed Vietnam Express, the first Vietnamese radio station in the Boston area.
