SDVMA - Supplier Diversity Vendor Management Application
SDVMA is designed to improve the overall responsiveness of support organization efforts in meeting its goals of developing and growing relationships with minority and women-owned firms. The application improves the capture and reporting of services in certification, enforcement, business assistance and advocacy to minority and women owned business enterprises.
SDVMA provides tools to manage verification of diverse business certifications (NMSDC, WBENC, SOMWBA, & other approved organizations), and a reporting engine to monitor vendor performance. Organizations and its users will have a uniformed source to search for diversity certified vendors. Additionally, each certified vendor in the searchable database will have a vendor registration number, which tracks outreach, contract performance, contract value, and payment histories to provide the organization with Supplier Diversity Vendor monitoring and reporting. It will also include the following organization improvements:
Assist in developing, implementing and revising compliance programs to meet organization commitment to community leadership by providing support for goal development, performance tracking and vendor management for supplier diversity programs.
Allow the Business Relations and Supplier Diversity (BRSD) department to source qualified vendors and provide robust support to the business areas to meet corporate targets.
Provide a searchable, centralized database comprised of diverse businesses (minority- and women-owned companies) that will allow the organization to effectively and more efficiently source products and services from a pool of qualified vendors in the database. The BRSD department will track certification, references and other vendor information in the SDVMA database.
Allow the BRSD department the ability to measure vendor compliance progress throughout a specific project.
Enable the BRSD department to process more vendor certifications without staff increases.
Streamline workflow between the organization and potential vendors. |
SDVMA provides for on-line vendor registration of DBEs and others interested in accessing opportunities for either a complete agency or a specific project, including outreach documentation. In addition, the one page profile form is added to the SDVMA web-based database, which is searchable, by key words, such as site work, drywall, HVAC, millwork or trucking. Also, search by pre-qualification criteria, such as $1-5 million in contract performance histories or union affiliation or geographic abilities. Agency or project-specific procurement officers and project managers now have a uniformed source to search for DBEs. Additionally, each DBE in the searchable database will have a vendor registration number, which tracks outreach, contract performance, contract value and payment histories to provide for agency or project monitoring and reporting. Simply view the results listing of a query, view list, select vendor of interest and then click to view or print out the complete one page Vendor Profile form.
SDVMA maintains the list of the organization certified, registered, active, and non-active vendors:
Track DBE application/recertification process.
Maintain standardize contractor performance measurement procedures across vendors.
Allow authorized users to identify and manipulate the data to specific projects and draw-out a comparison from specific dates.
